10K Training with Fleet Feet Sports Winston-Salem

Congrats on finishing the 2010 Freedom Run 10K in Greensboro!  Keep up your training and prepare for the Fall Half Marathon Training Program!

Participant Information

Our 10K (6.2 miles) 8 week training program is designed for runners who are working to move beyond the 5K distance. Combining longer distances with speed workouts and strength training, this program will challenge you to take it to the next level. If your personal goal is to challenge your limits, then this is the way to do it. JOIN US!
*Note: Participants should be able to run or run/walk 5K (3.1 miles) at the start of the training program

Kickoff and Informational Meeting: Early May 2011 at Fleet Feet Sports

First Practice: Early May 2011

Coached Workouts: Long runs on Saturday mornings at 7:00am and Coached Speed Workouts on Tuesdays at 6:00pm

Program Cost: $100.00 (does not include race registration fee)

Race Date: Freedom Run 10K in Greensboro

Participants will receive a 9 week detailed training schedule, coaching, informational clinics, weekly e-mails with tips advice, constant motivation & support, and a technical shirt.
